This huge pod is the home of Azteca ants. There are millions of inhabitants in here. These pods are all over the forest, and the ants within them produce 10 tons of refuse every day that’s incredibly rich in nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. It’s the forest’s perfect fertilizer.
